Day 1: The Road to Perspective – Transfer to Nairobi
Depart from your designated pick-up point in the morning and travel by bus to Nairobi.
This first leg of the journey is more than transportation — it is an opportunity to observe everyday life, landscapes, and cross-border movement. The road experience offers perspective, reflection, and a gradual transition into holiday mode.
Upon arrival, check in at your three-star accommodation, unwind, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Scenic Transition – Train to Mombasa & Beach Arrival
After breakfast, transfer to the train station for a scenic railway journey to Mombasa. As landscapes shift from inland terrain to coastal plains, the experience becomes a symbolic movement from activity to calm.
Arrive in Mombasa and transfer to your beach hotel. After check-in and lunch, spend the afternoon settling in — walking along the shoreline, breathing in the ocean air, and allowing your pace to slow naturally.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Coastal Rhythm & Cultural Discovery
After breakfast, enjoy a full day embracing the coastal atmosphere.

Standard Trip Terms & Conditions

Trip Inclusions
The trip price generally includes transport, accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, entry fees to scheduled attractions, and the services of a trip coordinator or guide.
Trip Exclusions
The package price does not include visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses (drinks, laundry, shopping), optional activities not listed in the itinerary, tips and gratuities, or any additional costs arising from personal delays.
Passport & Visa Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and any required visas or travel documentation for the destination country.
Travel Insurance
For cross-border trips, travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, evacuation, and trip interruptions. Du Repos Expeditions shall not be held responsible for losses due to lack of insurance coverage.
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm participation. The balance must be cleared before the trip departure date as communicated.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a traveler cancels participation, the following applies:

More than 20 days before departure: 70% refund (excluding deposit)

10 – 20 days before departure: 50% refund

5 – 9 days before departure: 25% refund

Less than 5 days before departure: No refund
Refund processing may take 7–14 working days.
Itinerary Changes
Du Repos Expeditions reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances.
Liability
Du Repos Expeditions acts as a facilitator for travel services and shall not be liable for delays, injuries, loss of property, or disruptions caused by third parties, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
