Day 1: Kampala to Nairobi – The Journey of Togetherness 

Evening departure from Kampala aboard a comfortable executive bus for an overnight journey to Nairobi. 

This leg of the trip sets the tone for partnership — shared conversations, dreams, laughter, and intentional reflection as you cross borders not just geographically, but into a new season of life together.

Day 2: City Discovery & Gentle Giants Experience 

Morning arrival in Nairobi followed by transfer to the hotel for freshening up and check-in (subject to availability). 

Begin your guided Nairobi city tour, exploring key landmarks that showcase Kenya’s economic growth, culture, and national identity. This exposure sparks conversations about legacy, growth, and the kind of life you desire to build together. 

Later, visit the renowned Giraffe Centre for an up-close interaction with endangered Rothschild giraffes. This intimate wildlife experience symbolizes gentleness, patience, and connection — beautiful reflections for a new marriage. 

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi. 

Day 3: Nature, History & Shared Reflection 

After breakfast, set out for a guided nature walk in Karura Forest. 

Explore the historic Mau Mau Caves — a powerful reminder of resilience, sacrifice, and freedom. As a couple, this becomes a moment to reflect on strength and commitment in your own journey. 

Continue to Butterfly Lake and nearby waterfalls, enjoying the serenity and beauty of nature. Lunch will be taken during the excursion. 

The evening is reserved for leisure — romantic dinner conversations, quiet bonding, and rest.

Day 4: Return with Renewed Vision 

Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out and transfer to the bus station. 

Enjoy a daytime executive bus journey back to Kampala, arriving in the evening — not just having toured Nairobi, but having deepened your bond and strengthened your shared vision.

Trip Inclusions 

The trip price generally includes transport, accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, entry fees to scheduled attractions, and the services of a trip coordinator or guide. 

Trip Exclusions 

The package price does not include visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses (drinks, laundry, shopping), optional activities not listed in the itinerary, tips and gratuities, or any additional costs arising from personal delays. 

Passport & Visa Requirements 

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and any required visas or travel documentation for the destination country. 

Travel Insurance 

For cross-border trips, travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, evacuation, and trip interruptions. Du Repos Expeditions shall not be held responsible for losses due to lack of insurance coverage. 

Booking & Payment 

non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm participation. The balance must be cleared before the trip departure date as communicated. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy 

If a traveler cancels participation, the following applies: 

  • More than 20 days before departure: 70% refund (excluding deposit) 

  • 10 – 20 days before departure: 50% refund 

  • 5 – 9 days before departure: 25% refund 

  • Less than 5 days before departure: No refund 

Refund processing may take 7–14 working days. 

Itinerary Changes 

Du Repos Expeditions reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances. 

Liability 

Du Repos Expeditions acts as a facilitator for travel services and shall not be liable for delays, injuries, loss of property, or disruptions caused by third parties, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
