Day 1: The Road to the River – Arrival & Riverside Calm
Morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe and transfer to Jinja. The drive offers scenic views of towns, markets, and countryside landscapes, allowing you to gradually transition from routine into a slower, more present rhythm.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the river, swimming, or simply sitting together as you take in the calm flow of the Nile. The riverside setting creates space to unwind and reconnect before the adventure ahead.

Day 2: The Source Experience – Perspective & Elevation

As you cruise, observe the surrounding communities, birdlife, and natural scenery while appreciating the historical and geographical significance of this iconic location.
Continue to nearby waterfalls for scenic exploration and photography — moments designed to inspire reflection and admiration of nature’s force and beauty.
In the afternoon, experience zip-lining over the Nile. Suspended above the river, you gain a new perspective — seeing the landscape from above while sharing the thrill of adventure together.
Return to the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Leisure with Meaning
After breakfast, enjoy a day shaped by your own pace. Relax by the riverside, swim, or choose optional adventure activities along the Nile. Whether you embrace calm or adrenaline, this day allows you to align your experience with your energy and intention.

Trip Inclusions
The trip price generally includes transport, accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, entry fees to scheduled attractions, and the services of a trip coordinator or guide.
Trip Exclusions
The package price does not include visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses (drinks, laundry, shopping), optional activities not listed in the itinerary, tips and gratuities, or any additional costs arising from personal delays.
Passport & Visa Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and any required visas or travel documentation for the destination country.
Travel Insurance
For cross-border trips, travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, evacuation, and trip interruptions. Du Repos Expeditions shall not be held responsible for losses due to lack of insurance coverage.
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm participation. The balance must be cleared before the trip departure date as communicated.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a traveler cancels participation, the following applies:

More than 20 days before departure: 70% refund (excluding deposit)

10 – 20 days before departure: 50% refund

5 – 9 days before departure: 25% refund

Less than 5 days before departure: No refund
Refund processing may take 7–14 working days.
Itinerary Changes
Du Repos Expeditions reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances.

Du Repos Expeditions acts as a facilitator for travel services and shall not be liable for delays, injuries, loss of property, or disruptions caused by third parties, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
