Day 1: Journey North & Conservation Reflection
Pickup from Kampala or Entebbe and travel north with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking — an introduction to Uganda’s powerful conservation story.
As you walk together tracking rhinos, it becomes a moment to reflect on protection, preservation, and the responsibility of building something that lasts — just like your marriage.
After lunch en route, continue to Gulu for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Into the Wild Frontier
After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive to Kidepo Valley National Park.
Arrive and settle into the lodge for lunch, followed by leisure time or a short guided nature walk around the lodge — allowing you to absorb the stillness, vast skies, and uninterrupted landscapes.
Here, distance from the city becomes closeness to each other.
Dinner and overnight near the park.
Day 3: Wildlife Majesty & Cultural Depth
Morning game drive with opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and large antelope herds in one of Africa’s least crowded ecosystems.
The open savannah becomes symbolic — wide space to dream, plan, and envision your shared future without distraction.
After lunch, visit a Karamojong community for a cultural interaction — encountering a different way of life and perspective. This moment encourages humility, gratitude, and appreciation for simplicity.
Later, enjoy a guided nature walk or hike before returning for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Reflection & Return
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning walk or quiet reflection time at the lodge.
Begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route and evening drop-off — returning not just from a safari, but from a shared frontier experience that strengthened partnership, resilience, and vision.
Standard Trip Terms & Conditions

Trip Inclusions
The trip price generally includes transport, accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, entry fees to scheduled attractions, and the services of a trip coordinator or guide.
Trip Exclusions
The package price does not include visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses (drinks, laundry, shopping), optional activities not listed in the itinerary, tips and gratuities, or any additional costs arising from personal delays.
Passport & Visa Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and any required visas or travel documentation for the destination country.
Travel Insurance
For cross-border trips, travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, evacuation, and trip interruptions. Du Repos Expeditions shall not be held responsible for losses due to lack of insurance coverage.
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm participation. The balance must be cleared before the trip departure date as communicated.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a traveler cancels participation, the following applies:

More than 20 days before departure: 70% refund (excluding deposit)

10 – 20 days before departure: 50% refund

5 – 9 days before departure: 25% refund

Less than 5 days before departure: No refund
Refund processing may take 7–14 working days.
Itinerary Changes
Du Repos Expeditions reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances.

Du Repos Expeditions acts as a facilitator for travel services and shall not be liable for delays, injuries, loss of property, or disruptions caused by third parties, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
